There are times when outrage just does not sum up my feelings toward an incident or situation, and now is one of these times. I fancy myself a wordsmith, but there is a time for internet activism and education, and a time for action. The time for action is now.

Personal prejudices and bigotry have no place in society, let alone public school administration.
I need for EVERYONE to read this article, and please offer your support to the group by coming to the protest tomorrow at the BISD administration building at 10AM if you are local, and if not, by calling to show how outrageous and unacceptable this incident is to the the community as a whole.
We are simply asking for a plausible explanation of why the program for adult cosmetology students would be ended so abruptly, and for documentation of this prior to the time frame of the incident in the article.
